Prof on Instagram: "To fix a loose toilet seat, lift the seat and locate the hinge covers, which hide the bolts. Pop these covers open using a flathead screwdriver. From the top, use a screwdriver to tighten the bolt while holding the plastic nut underneath with your other hand. Ensure the seat is aligned properly before tightening, and then snap the covers back on to secure it. You’ll need a Phillips or flathead screwdriver and potentially some pliers to help hold the nuts.
