#NationalDNADay celebrates both this day in 1953 that Watson, Crick, Franklin and Wilkins published papers in Nature revealing the structure of DNA, and the completion of the Human Genome Project 50 years later. This crystallographic model of DNA belonged to William Lawrence Bragg, our former Director, who developed the field of X-ray crystallography with Bragg's Law.
