Players using the Roblox game creation system will soon have to pay to add the popular 'oof' death sound effect into their games.

The famous "oof" sound from Roblox, which was comically played whenever you met your maker, is no more.

The Roblox community was vocal in its response to the change, which was so popular that even Post Malone based a two-hour Coachella set off the sound effect.

Tallarico and Roblox seemed to work something out, as in 2020 it was revealed that the "oof" sound would be replaced but with the iconic version still licensable for $1 or 100 robux.
