VJET JavaScript IDEとは? VJETはeBay Open Sourceで開発されているJavaScript開発用のEclipseプラグインだ。eBay Open SourceではeBayがオープンソース化したプロダクトの開発が行われており、現時点ではVJETのほかにSOAプラットフォームである「Turmeric」が公開されている。

1.5.11では新しくExtJS 1.1の開発機能が追加されたほか、 Alt + Shift + /キーを経由したサードパーティプラグインにおけるJavaScriptコードの補完機能の追加などが行われている。なお、Spket IDEは非商用利用においては無償で提供されているが、商用利用にはライセンスの購入が必要だとされている。
