JetBrains, the maker of the popular IntelliJ IDEA Java integrated development environment, plans to deliver an open-source version of its tool set.

Software development toolmaker JetBrains has released IntelliJ IDEA 2020.1, a major update of its flagship code-centric Java IDE.

The Microsoft Open Technologies group previewed the MS Open Tech Tools Plugin for Microsoft Services, an initial preview of a new plugin for JetBrains' IntelliJ IDEA Java IDE and Android Studio IDE.
