Esports and Features F1 2020 isn't going to have much of a problem retaining its status as one of the bigger esports titles on the planet.

Though F1 is a real-life sport where cars and drivers race each other on various tracks around the world, there is a virtual version of the sport as well.

"From an IT perspective this is our learning season. But into 2020 we want our engineers to treat each esports event as a real race event," said Renault F1's IT manager Ben Hampshire.

This weekend sees the second F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix taking place on Sunday night, featuring five of the young stars of the sport racing against a motley crew of other racers and celebrities.
