A new model, allegedly called the CLE, was spied testing on the Nürburgring and is expected to arrive in 2022, eventually replacing the C-Class and E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet models.

For the first-time, the 2021 Mercedes E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are available with the same in-line six-cylinder engine paired with an integrated starter generator and a 48-volt system.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE is expected to debut sometime towards the end of 2022 or early 2023, followed by the next generation of the E-Class.
