Which models does Bing Image Creator offer?
Bing Image Creator allows you to select between two models to generate images:
- If you select DALL-E3, hitting the "Create" button will generate multiple images based on your prompt (which will count as one creation).
- If you select GPT4o, hitting the "Create" button will generate 1 image based on your prompt.
However, if you upload an image to Bing Image Creator to use or edit, you will not be able to select DALL-E3 - all image editing will be done using GPT4o.
Regardless of which model you choose to use, Bing Image Creator has two creation speeds: fast creation and standard creation. Every day, you'll get a total of 15 free fast image creations with Bing Image Creator's fastest speed. If you use up your 15 fast free image creations, they'll replenish the next day!
You can keep enjoying the Bing Image Creator's fast creation experience by using Microsoft Rewards points or you can continue creating for free at our standard speed if you don't mind waiting. Standard creation is slower than the fast creation speed, so images will take longer to generate. You can input up to 200 prompts per 24-hour period. The 200 prompt limit includes each time you click "Edit image". If you use all of your 200 prompts in a given 24-hour period, they'll replenish the next day.

How long will my uploaded images be saved?
Images uploaded to Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator will be saved for up to 30 days. After this time, any images in which faces are detected will be deleted. Images that do not have any faces detected may be stored for up to 18 months. While you cannot delete the images you've uploaded, You can always delete your creations sooner. How are my uploaded images used?
Images are used by Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator to generate an image and/or make modifications to images based on your requests. We may use images uploaded to generally improve our image processing services, but we will not use them to train models or personalize your Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator experience. We will not attempt to identify any faces appearing in uploaded images.

Are there limitations on what I can upload for image generation or editing?
All images you upload for image/video generation and/or editing using Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator should be original images that you own or have the rights to use. Do not upload images that infringe third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, or publicity rights), violate the privacy of others, include depictions of individuals without consent, or otherwise violate the Microsoft Services Agreement and/or the Bing Image Creator Code of Conduct. You are solely responsible for the images you upload. Your account for Bing Image Creator (and/or Bing Video Creator) usage may be restricted or suspended if we detect an attempt to upload illegal or prohibited content.

What happens to the images I share with Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator?
When you upload an image to Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator, Bing Image Creator and Bing Video Creator uses the image to respond to your request.
If you upload an image or use it for image generation or editing, it's processed to complete your request and may be retained for up to 30 days. Images where faces are detected will be deleted after 30 days; if no faces are detected, images may be stored for up to 18 months.
We may use images uploaded to generally improve our image processing services, but we will not use them to train models or personalize your Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator experience. We will not attempt to identify any faces appearing in uploaded images.

How does Bing Image Creator and Bing Video Creator handle images of people?
Bing Image Creator and Bing Video Creator notifies you that it may process biometric data—like faces or hands—when you use features such as image upload. This biometric processing notice applies any time you upload an image while using Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator. This includes through your use of image generating and editing tools. In some regions, you may be required to give consent before Bing Image Creator or Bing Video Creator will process your image. In those regions, you will be asked to give consent, which applies across all Bing Image Creator and Bing Video Creator experiences that involve image input.
Biometric data is only processed if you upload it, and it's solely used to respond to your request. For example, if you snap a selfie and ask Bing Image Creator to edit the image to give you a new hairstyle, it may analyze your facial features to edit the image or generate a new image. Note that Bing Image Creator and Bing Video Creator do not use uploaded images to train AI models or personalize your experience. We will not attempt to identify any faces appearing in uploaded images. Images where faces are detected will be deleted within 30 days after upload.
You're always in control of what you share. If you prefer not to have biometric data processed, simply avoid using these features. Do not share images of others without their consent.
